Memorial Weekend

On Friday the 26th we went to California to see my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. It was Sydney's birthday party so I did the girls hair and nails for the party. It was a really fun time for the girls and myself. Emersyn had a good time playing with the girls too. She and Hannah had a lot of fun together. It ended up being a really long day we left there at about 9:00pm for the drive home. All three of us were tired by the time we got home. It was nice to see everybody, and we can't wait for the trip to the Grand Canyon with the Johnson's and Knoth's.

On Saturday we had a barbecue to go to at our friends Tom and Holly's. They just got a new house and what better reason to have a party and it was the Holiday weekend so it worked out great. There house is really nice and in a nice area with alot of kids for Morgan to play with.

On Sunday and Monday it was back to work for me and some really fun Daddy daughter time.

Emersyn....So Cute

WORK

I've gone back to work all ready. It was sad, but its nice to be out and around the other women I work with. I didn't go back to the New York New York Hotel I ended up going to one of the mall salons. The hours worked out better so we don't have to put Emersyn in daycare. Scott meets me at the mall to pick up Emersyn then I work from 4-9 three days during the week and all day on Sundays. All the girls have been really nice to me. Being around that atmosphere again made me really miss the girls back home at Panopoulos. At New York New York I only worked with a couple of people. Its not like working with a whole group of girls. I really missed that.
Scott and Emersyn are getting used to eachother. Emersyn gets a little temperamental at night so its hard for Scott to clam her down sometimes. But with everyday it gets easier and easier. It is so cute the way Emersyn watches Scott. She turns her head to watch him walk around the house. You can tell she just loves her DADDY!!!

Scott and I have been very busy ever sense Emersyn come along. She likes to have our full attention all the time. We have had alot of family visiting in the last couple of months. First my parents came for 2 weeks. We all had a really good time it was so great to see them again. Emersyn just loved THE GRAN D (my mom).

The day after my parents left Scott's Mom and Glenn came to town. It was the first time they had been to Vegas. They had a really good time seeing the sites and gambling. They even one a little bite too. We took them to the Hoover Dam. If anyone comes out this way and haven't seen the Dam you should its amazing to see in person. And of course Grandma fell in love with our little peanut.

Next, my sister Angie and my niece Mackenzie came out. I'm surprised they made here in one piece. Angie doesn't really like to fly and thought all these things were going to happen to them. Mackenzie and Emersyn instantly loved eachother . Mackenzie said she was going to call Emersyn her sister well she here it was cute. Mackenzie would help me give Emersyn her bath and she would pick out her pjs for me. For those who know me know how close Mackenzie and I are, and so it was a little hard for her to see me paying all my attention to Emersyn and not her like usual. Well they were here we got another surprise that I'm going to be an aunt again and Scott is going to be an uncle again. We can't wait to meet the little one. She is due in December.

Coming in a couple weeks is Scott's sister Leigha and her husband Brian. Emersyn can't wait to meet her aunt and uncle.

We just want to say thank you to all our family that made the trip out here to see us and Emersyn. We loved seeing everyone. Its hard when you first have a baby and when you don't have any family around its even harder and sad that there not here to share in the joy.
